Care and Maintenance
All Charcuterie Boards are finished using Odie’s oil and Odie’s Wood Butter products. These are food safe and provides years of protection under normal use and care.
ALWAYS
- Wash gently with mild dish soap and water, rinse and towel dry the board
- Stand on end overnight to ensure board is fully air dried
NEVER
- Clean in the dishwasher or Submerge in water
- Use abrasive scrubbers like steel wool
- Use olive or vegetable oils!
The Cutting Boards are finished in a food safe finish using the Boos Mystery Oil and Boos Wax products. In addition to the general care of the charcuterie board, you may find the cutting board needs additional maintenance due to the nature of knives cutting into the surface of the wood.
- Apply Boos Mystery Oil every 2-4 weeks (or when you find the surface to be dry looking) – reapply Boos wax for additional protection if desired
- You may find that the cutting board may require some sanding to remove the roughness caused by the knives. Use a 220 grit sandpaper and apply the Boos Mystery Oil and Boos Wax as directed.
